Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings, purchases, and participation in activities at Sensory Play Studio, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.

By making a booking or purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before booking. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@sensoryplaystudio.ie before proceeding.

Bookings can be made online through our website or by contacting us directly. A booking is only confirmed once full payment (or the required deposit) has been received and you have received a confirmation email.

• Classes and sessions: full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Events and camps: a deposit is required to secure your place, with the balance due no later than the date specified at booking.
• Parties: a non-refundable deposit is required. Please see the individual party package page for the deposit amount and balance due date.
• Payment methods: we accept credit and debit cards via Stripe. Gift cards and class passes may be redeemable where stated.

All prices are in Euro (€) and include Irish VAT where applicable.

If you need to cancel a booking, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing hello@sensoryplaystudio.ie.

• More than 48 hours before the class/session: full refund or transfer to another date.
• 24–48 hours before: transfer to another date only (no cash refund).
• Less than 24 hours before or non-attendance: no refund or transfer.
• Events and camps — more than 14 days before start: full refund less a €10 administration charge.
• Events and camps — 7–14 days before start: 50% refund or full credit note.
• Events and camps — less than 7 days before start: no refund; credit note at our discretion.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes, sessions, events, and parties due to circumstances beyond our control (including low enrolment, instructor illness, or venue issues).

In the event of a cancellation by us, you will be offered:

• A full refund to your original payment method, or
• A credit note or transfer to an alternative date of equivalent value — at your choice.

We will give you as much notice as possible and will not be liable for any additional costs you may incur (e.g. travel or childcare).

• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
• Gift cards are redeemable against any class, event, camp, or product offered by Sensory Play Studio.
• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Gift cards are transferable — you may give or sell them to another person.
• Sensory Play Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen gift card codes.
• Remaining balances below the purchase price are not redeemable for cash.

• Class passes are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase from the date of purchase.
• Unused credits expire at the end of the validity period and cannot be refunded or extended except at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.
• Class passes are non-transferable and are for the named purchaser only.
• Pass credits are deducted at the time of booking. Cancellation of a booking using a pass credit is subject to the same notice period policy as cash bookings.

We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, parents, and carers. We ask all attendees to:

• Treat staff, other participants, and equipment with respect.
• Ensure that your child is supervised appropriately throughout the session (unless the session is specifically a drop-off session).
• Arrive on time — late arrivals may disrupt the session for other participants.
• Inform us in advance of any needs, medical conditions, or adjustments required.
• Not attend if you or your child is unwell with an infectious illness.

We reserve the right to ask any participant or accompanying adult to leave the session if their behaviour poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of others. No refund will be given in such circumstances.

We occasionally take photographs or short videos during sessions for use on our website and social media channels. By attending, you consent to photography and filming by Sensory Play Studio staff unless you have opted out.

To opt out of photography, please email hello@sensoryplaystudio.ie before your session or speak to a member of staff on arrival. Your opt-out will be recorded and respected.

Please do not take photographs or video of other children without the consent of their parent or carer.

It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special requirements that may affect your child's participation. Please do so at the time of booking or by contacting us before the session.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your child's needs, but we cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment. Parents and carers are responsible for carrying any required medication (e.g. EpiPens) and for administering it if required.

Sensory Play Studio takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of participants. However, participation in physical activities carries inherent risk. By attending, you accept this risk on behalf of yourself and any children in your care.

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Sensory Play Studio shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage arising from attendance at sessions, except where caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific class, event, or product giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
